Kingdom of Cats

It’s been a long time since we had such a large representation! At the cat show in Banino, organised by Cat Club Victoria, there were our MCOs from Afgan*PL and Pod Brzozami*PL, russians from Królewski Czar*PL, Et Cetera BLUE*PL and Barwny Kot*PL, norwegians from Formellot*PL, devons from Kocie Love*PL, ragdolls from JellyCat*PL and our debutant and great pride, Balinese kitten from Korol Kings*PL – altogether 19 wonderful purrs!

Our club pets received a total of 32 ex1 grades, one PH, 4 BIVs and 13 BIS panel nominations. The latter resulted in 7 wins.

Did you know that on Mother’s Day, exactly one year ago, Kingdom of Cats was officially called to life? Thank you for this year!

And tomorrow we will share with you a report from the past show in Banino! A lot was happening! And as usual we showed our best side!

Did you know that we have a talented artist at our club who sews such wonders? We needed bedding for the outside windowsill for our girls, but Iza from BiJak-Pupil can magically conjure up all sorts of things!

Show curtains? Layette sets? Warmers for the carrier? No matter what you come up with, she is sure to manage it, and the cats will be delighted, like the ones in the attached picture

Having your own cat mating is a great convenience in breeding However, many people choose not to move him into their flats in fear that he will mark the flat. Some breeders choose to nappy their studs, but fabric panties, made to measure, are definitely a more comfortable solution for the pet

Anyone interested in testing such a solution should contact Dominika from Mighty Ocean PL. Her mum is able to sew such cat’s clothing with adjustments and from materials in various patterns.

Have you ever heard of Kokosanka? She is the famous female penguin from Gdański Ogród Zoologiczny. This one-of-a-kind albino female was recently voted Penguin of the Year, beating out many other penguins from around the world.

But in the club, we also have our own penguin that we can’t fail to brag about! It’s Torino from the Formellot*PL cattery, who won BOB III and BOB IV at the past show in Świnoujście!

Part from him, other norwegians, as well as sphynxes, Russian blue cats and devon rexes from our club also presented themselves at the Cat Club Pomerania‘s show – a total of 11 wonderful pets, which received as many as 14 ex1 marks and four nominations for the BIS panel.

We cannot forget to mention about Erna Formellot*PL and Hana Bella Tigra*PL (from Kocie Love*PL cattery), who both walked away with many awards!

Say hello to Greys! She is only 8 months old. She has recently arrived in Gdansk from the Ukrainian cattery Frangipani Balinesecattery. She loves (human) children and willingly gets involved in family life. Guests also have to expect that she will find her way into their laps very quickly.

She is a very intelligent cat who learns quickly and eagerly, which is why she has just started clicker training with her owner.

Greys is the first Balinese cat in our club, but with the end of the holidays she will be joined by a stud cat and maybe they will have their offspring later this year

We keep our fingers crossed for her future show successes and we are looking forward to her first litter

Guess who represented us in Hradec Kralove last weekend?

You are right! It was obviously our honorary member Basia Parucka from Królewski Czar*PL with her handsome boys Nathan and Casanova! It was extremely productive, as Nathan returned home with two certificates for Supreme Champion, while Casanova became International Champion and won his first certificate for Grand International Champion and a nomination!

The guys are going like a storm! Before we know it they will both reach the peak of their show careers!

The General Assembly of Members, unanimously decided to award honorary membership of the Kingdom of Cats to two breeders: Dorota Niwińska and Barbara Parucka.

Dorota Niwińska is celebrating her breeding jubilee this year. She founded the cattery of Bengal and Maine Coon cats Dewadora*PL exactly 20 years ago. With this honorary membership, we would like to thank her for her long-standing contribution to Polish felinology.

Barbara Parucka is a breeder of Russian Blue cats, owner of the Królewski Czar*PL cattery, who represents our association at numerous cat shows (including the World Cat Show) and her cats achieve excellent results at these shows. At the January gala, one of her cats was named National Winner and three were named Super Kot of 2023.
